GO©-To Cafe is being relocated to BLDG 3B. Access will be restricted to upper management and those with white badge clearance. This also goes for rooftop yoga. But we’ve still got plenty of hot and cold cereals, sandwich items, and a salad bar, plus the yoga room in PQR2 gets great sunlight. I might actually choose it over the rooftop.

AS A TEMP, I had up until this point enjoyed access to the GO©—To Cafe—sushi, tapas, oysters on the half shell, beer on tap, always open, always free. White badges were engineers and whatnot—the ones really making all this magic happen. They got earthquake kits. They could go see the campus nurse or dentist. And now there was a building exclusively for them, which initially made me laugh, the optics of a progressive company like GO© having a whites-only building. But I chose not to see it as the warning sign some of my colleagues did; to me it was just motivation to be converted to full time.

Ward hit me up on AOL AIM instead of GO©’s internal messaging system. This meant the topic was serious, something he didn’t want to risk being snooped. It was funny to be adults with respectable jobs, but using screen names from puberty.
